Cancellation, No-Show, and Refund Policy

You can reschedule a lesson by informing the instructor. Notify at least 48 hours in advance for any changes in time, date, or location. If you book a lesson one day before, you can cancel it within one hour of booking. Late cancellations, missed lessons, or no-shows will result in loss of lesson time and car rental fees. This time could have been used for another student’s training. At our discretion, a missed lesson may be revived for $30 per hour. Otherwise, the lesson will be forfeited.

We have a no-refund policy. If a student cannot take unused lessons for any reason, there will be no refund for paid lessons or packages. However, all lesson/package fees remain valid for one year from the payment date. There is no charge for lessons canceled on time.

The Road Test

Please bring desired documents by ICBC for the road test. You may be refused a road test by ICBC if any relevant paper is missing/due to any reasons. No Refund if ICBC refuses test, may be any reasons. You must notify us of your desire to cancel a road test at least 48 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting your booking charges with us. Failure to intimate correct, date, time and place of road test by the student will result to no refund.

Bring all required documents for the road test as per ICBC guidelines. ICBC may refuse your test if any document is missing or for any other reason. There will be no refund if ICBC denies the test for any reason. To avoid losing your booking fee, cancel the road test at least 48 hours in advance. Providing the wrong date, time, or location for the road test will result in no refund.

Under ICBC’s New Insurance Model Policy (effective September 1, 2019), students driving a driving school vehicle for more than 12 days in 12 months may be listed on the vehicle’s insurance policy. Therefore, if you take lessons with our driving school for more than 12 days in a year, your name may be added to the insurance policy.

Lesson Details

Lessons will typically last one hour, 1.5 hours, two hours, or another agreed duration. All fees must be paid in full at the time of booking. The maximum charge is $100 per hour for lessons and $500 for car rental per road test.

Lessons start and end at the appointed time, but may start earlier if mutually agreed upon by the student and instructor. If the student is late, the lost time will not be made up. In case of a no-show, the instructor will wait 15 minutes maximum. After that, the lesson will be forfeited.

Please allow a 15-minute grace period for the instructor if they are not on time. The instructor may be late due to traffic or other unavoidable circumstances beyond control. Rest assured, you will receive the full lesson time.

In some cases, a maximum of four people, including the instructor, may be in the car due to unavoidable issues, observation, or pick-up/drop-off needs. Additionally, ICBC examiners may also be in the car on your Road Test day

If you do not have a valid driving license or required prescription glasses on the lesson day, the lesson will not proceed as scheduled. The student will pay for the lesson time, or the lesson will be forfeited.

Lessons or packages cannot be transferred to other family members or friends.

The vehicle may be changed without notice. A Quick Success Driving School reserves the right to adjust lesson dates or timings due to scheduling conflicts. Any changes will be notified in advance.

If a student causes a crash and is found at fault by ICBC, the student will be responsible for paying the deductible/claim amount. The decision to appear for a Road Test, with or without preparation, is the sole responsibility of the student driver.
